SUNDAY: Notification issued by the Ministry of Interior on Saturday said a sufficient number of troops, to be determined by the Commander of the 111 Brigade, were being deployed in the capital to assist civil authorities in maintaining law and order. The troops have been deployed in aid of civil power under Article 245 of the Constitution and will remain in Islamabad until further order.

The Ministry of Interior on today(Saturday) night issued a SRO authorizing the deployment of the Pakistan Army in aid of civil power to control law and order in the Islamabad Capital of Pakistan.
The SRO issued in by the request of the Islamabad Capital Territory Islamabad Administration dated November 25 issued by the ministry under Article 245 of the Constitution, read along with Sections 4 and 5 of the Anti-Terrorism Act and section 131-A of the Cr.P.C authorized the deployment of a sufficient number of troops as to be determined by the Commander 111 Brigade with effect from November 25 until further orders.
Earlier PEMRA orders to take news channels off air
Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) also ordered to take all news channels off air.
Social media sources like Facebook, YouTube also off air by PEMRA. People using VPN to open these sites.
Updates From KARACHI At least 30 people were reported injured in different incidents across Karachi on Saturday after protests sprung up in response to the government’s operation against protesters gathered in Islamabad.
Hospital sources confirmed that 27 of the 30 people injured in different incident across the city were admitted to Jinnah Hospital, while three were admitted to the Civil Hospital.
Protesters gathered at the Numaish Chowrangi since morning to shut down the access roads and forcefully close all the shops in the area.
