Dr Muhammad Ali ShahThe founder of T20 Cricket Dr.Muhammad Ali Shah has been died.

In tribute of Late Dr.Muhammad Ali Shah,I have been knowing Dr.Shah since 1974 when he use to work in Medicare. As a Cricket enthusiast I was in the Medicare’s famous Cricket team having Dr.Shah himself with Dr.Faiz(Renowned Plastic Surgeon),Dr.Sohail,Mr.Naseem Ul Ghani, Late Anees Ul Ghani etc. Since then I have seen him working endlessly for the betterment of sports in this Country as he eventually established a state of the art Asghar Ali Shah Cricket Stadium in Karachi as previously this place was use to be a save heaven for drug addicts.

Hence by establishing Asghar Ali Shah Cricket Stadium by creating a healthy sports entertainment spot for the people of Karachi . The best part of this stadium is that here international matches such as under 17 Asia cricket cup etc as well as domestic tournament s are also been held ,that is first class and domestic cricket matches along with Dr.M.A.Shah Night Twenty20 & Ramzan tournaments.Even free cricket coaching is also given to young upcoming cricketers. Breaking: Bomb Blast in Karachi

At least 12 people were injured following a blast and subsequent firing in Karachi’s Abbas Town. Blast happened near Imam Bargah, where an Moharram-ul-Haram congregation was underway.

The critically injured were being shifted to the nearby hospitals which include Patel Hospital, Abbasi Shaheed, Agha Khan, and Liaquat National.

PPP MNA Fauzia Wahab Passes Away

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

PPP leader Waqar Mehdi confirmed that Fauzia Wahab was no more. She had been hospitalized since May 24.

Waqar Mehdi told that her funeral prayers would be offered at Mubarak Mosque in

Defence Phase-4, Karachi, after Zuhr prayers on Monday.

The PPP has announced 10-day mourning on the tragic demise of its senior leader.

Fauzia Wahab was born in 1956 and mother of four children.

She married in 1978 to Wahab Siddiqui.

For the next fourteen years, she was a housewife and had four children.

Fauzia Wahab acted in Haseena Moin’s drama serial ‘Kohar’ as the cousin of the hero played by then famous model Junaid Butt. The Drama was aired in 1991-92 and directed by M Zaheer Khan.

In February 1993, Wahab Siddiqui died of a massive heart attack and her life took a new turn. Then she married prominent cardiologist Dr Athar Hussein.

In 1994, the then Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto nominated Fauzia Wahab to become the Information Secretary of women’s wing of the PPP in Sindh, a position Fauzia held till early 2002. After the dissolution of the PPP government in November 1996, general elections were held in February 1997 in which she was nominated to contest the elections on NA-193, as a PPP candidate. The PPP lost the elections and was confined to the opposition benches in the subsequent National Assembly.

Today on 16th june 2012, she wasin serious condition admitted in a hospital at Karachi but she died.
