Day1:
South Africa won the toss and chose to field first. Pakistan replace Muhammad Irfan and Tanvir Ahmed with Junaid Khan and Rahat Ali.

Pakistani openers start the inning very slowly and lose 1st wicket on just 10 runs of NasirJjamshed who was playing his 2nd test again fail to provide a good opening start.
Pakistani upper order again fail to stay on wicket and put score on the board and 4 players go back to the pavilion in just 33 runs.
But today out of form batsman Younis Khan look dangerous and scored a century and carry the score to 252 runs with excellent century of upcoming start batsman Asad Shafiq. Both batsmen played extremely good inning and recovered the Pakistani inning.

Pakistani openers Muhammad Hafeez and Imran Nazir give good start to Pakitan. Imran Nazir playing confidently but unfortunately he caught and bowled by Southee after scoring 25 runs.
