Fakhar Zaman Double Century Against Zimbabwe Break Many Records in ODI Series


Pakistani opener batsman and ex navy Fakhar Zaman made a history and become first Pakistani who scored double century in an individual match and break the record of Saeed Anwar after 21 years. Saeed Anwar who made 194 runs against India 21st May 1997 in Chennai.

Fakhar Zaman become the 6th batsman who made double century in a match. Before this Rohit Sharma made double century thrice and Sachin Tendulkar, Sehwag, Chris Gayle and Martin Guptill.

He is the only Pakistani who made double century in a match. He scored against  Zimbabwe in Bulawayo, Jul 20 2018. In this match many records break like best ever opening partnership and most boundaries by an individual in a match. Fakhar Zaman hits 24 fours that’s the record by any player in a inning. He also hit 5 maximum in his inning. During this inning he faced 156 balls and stay on wicket for 221 minutes.

Records ODI Internationals-Partnership

Fakhar Zaman and Imam ul Haq both made 304 runs on opening partnership which also a record. Before this record the best ODI partnership in a match for 1st wicket was by WU Tharanga, ST Jayasuriya against England of 286 runs in 2006.

Fastest 1000 Runs in ODI Record

On the fifth ODI against Zimbabwe Fakhar Zaman need more 20 runs to reach fastest 1000 runs in ODI. Its his 18th inning which also break by him and scored 85 runs in his 18th inning which help him to reach faster 1000 runs in ODI.


Most Runs by a batsman in 5 series match

Fakhar Zaman become the batsman who scored most runs in 5 matches series. he scored 515 runs in the series against Zimbabwe 2018-19.

Most Runs Without Dismissed Record

Fakhar Zaman also break another record of making 455 runs without dismissed. Before this record Muhammad Yousuf was the record holder with 405 runs which he made against Zimbabwe in 2002-2003.
